Meet Katie Swaffield, Sam Rosenberg and Kristy White from the Rosenberg Motorcycles Race Team. Fit, talented and on board Kawasaki KX250F motorcycles for the 2011 MX season, the girls from Rockhampton, QLD are getting results while doing what they love.
After both sustaining season ending injuries last year, 18 year old Sam Rosenberg and 19 year old Katie Swaffield have bounced back to full health and are excited to be back on board with Kawasaki dealership Rosenberg Motorcycles. Just last weekend, Rosenberg and Swaffield both finished well inside the top ten at the Central QLD MX Titles finishing 6th and 7th respectively.
Wayne Rosenberg, Dealership Principal of Rosenberg Motorcycles says, “Both Katie and Sam had a tough year last year after suffering pretty big injuries. They’re not even back to full fitness so it’s great that they’re already getting the results that they are. The KX250F’s have been excellent, just excellent and we couldn’t ask for anything more from the motorcycle. It’s also great to have Kristy White join the team this year.”
18 year old Kristy White competes for the first time ever in 2011. Having ridden off road motorcycles for many years recreationally, White decided to join her team-mate friends at the starting gate this year.
Wayne Rosenberg goes on to say, “What’s great about this team is that all the girls are friends. Motorcycle racing for the girls in this team is not only competitive but it’s a good fun social activity as well. The girls love to train and ride together whenever they can. This team is good for the girls and the sport.”
The Rosenberg Motorcycles Race Team are preparing for their next race meet at Middlemount, QLD on 28-29 May.
