“This win was made extra special by the fact that it was achieved aboard a completely stock standard Kawasaki KX250F that was straight out of the box, showing just how good the all-new 2017 race bike actually is,” Luke commented.
Luke’s father, Dale Burgess said “It is believed that there are only 2 other events like this in the world and the championship attracts a huge crowd of many thousands of spectators. We are extremely proud of Luke and given that many of the other competing bikes were modified proves what Luke and the new 2017 KX250F are capable of.”
Luke’s No. 1 plate adorned 2017 KX250F racing machine is on display beside his desk at Mackay Kawasaki for the public to view.
