Current Australian Women's MX Champion Meghan Rutledge will compete for the second consecutive year in the Women's Moto X class at X Games on board a Kawasaki KX250F.
18 year old Rutledge from Picton, NSW will look to improve on her 4th place finish at the event last year.
Rutledge is excited to compete at X Games, saying, "I'm so happy to have been invited to compete at X Games again in 2013. It's such a great event, the atmosphere is electric. I was unlucky not to podium last year and I was also racing injured. This year I'm not carrying any injuries so I'm optimistic of a good result. They're only short races so the start is very important. If I can get good starts I know I can be on the top step of the podium."
Meghan Rutledge has won the Australian Women's MX Championship the last 2 years since turning Senior and currently competes in the Under 19s class at the Monster Energy MX Nationals in Australia and in the FIM World WMX Championship with the Rockstar Bud Racing Kawasaki Team.
