Kawasaki supported rider Liam Jackson, made his was to Hattah Vic, for the 2019 desert race.
Kym Jackson commented on Liam's performance at Hattah;
"Well Hattah 2019 is done, we prologued 60th outright and 9th in his class with a little left in the tank but wanting to stay on for prologue so then we had a couple hour break while the small wheels raced. He left the line well and flew up the first straight with some 250f’s in hot pursuit as they entered the first couple of turns where he was on the inside of a right bend and was taken down by loose rider. Liam flipped while sitting on the bike lucky it was a slow motion crash and didn’t get hurt but by the time he got out from the bike got it going and was able to return to the track he was in around position 210 he rode hardcore the rest of the lap and managed to come back to position 86 by lap 2, he ended up finishing 73rd outright and 18th in his class.
"Liam was devastated when he was taken out in the first lap but showed true grit and got back what he could, the new KX85 ran like a dream and never missed a beat. Liam is now it’s back to training motorcross and competing in the NSW off road events with four rounds to go. We would like to thank Kawasaki motors for the continued support!"
