Kawasaki provided Emig with a KX450F to ride at Appin for the Shift presents MotoDevelopment riding school. Throughtout the day, Jeff imparted his vast and valuable knowledge of MX and SX racing at the very highest level to the particiants including KX Junior Squad rider Grace Rowe.

Jeff Emig was the only rider to win back to back AMA 250 MX championships in the 90's. Emig won the titles with Kawasaki in 1996 and 1997 and the AMA Supercross championship in 1997.  He also represented the USA at the MX of Nations from 1992 through until 1997 with the team winning in '92, '93 and 1996. Emig was inducted into the AMA motorcycle hall of fame in 2004 and currently announces the AMA Supercross series on CBS/ Speed/ Fox.
