Kawasaki Castrol Racing Team - Riders Matt Murray and Lachy Allan - had a challenging round 1 and 2 in the Australian Off-Road Championships (AORC).
Kawasaki caught up with both riders after racing on the 9th-10th March. Matt Murray said "Very dusty and rocky track made the race tough, but the bike felt fast and handled conditions well." Matt placed 5th on his KX450, learning great things for round 3 and 4 in Dungog NSW.
Lachy Allan said "Track was very challenging with hills and creek beds in 33 degree heat made it difficult to find a rhythm. The KX250F felt great on the track both days". Lachy placed 8th in round 1 and 7th in round 2, and is looking forward to pushing harder in his next round with Matt.
Rounds 3 and 4 of the Australian Off Road Championships is the 6th-7th April 2019 in Dungog NSW, visit the AORC website for more information here: https://www.aorc.org.au/rounds-3-4-dungog-nsw/.
