Kawasaki Australia supported team Kawasaki Castrol Off-Road Racing Team made their way to Broken hill 10th and 11th August 2019.
Riders Lachlan Allan and Matt Murry competed in round 7 of the Australia Off-Road Champion in Broken Hill in very competitive fields.
Lachlan Allan - Competing on the brand new 2020 KX250, had strong results over the entire weekend. Saturday, 10th August, he finished 18th outright and 5th in the class. Sunday 11th August, Lachy finished 20th outright and 5th in the class. "The 2020 is definitely more powerful and was clocked at 138kmph down the straights!" - Peter Allan, Kawasaki Castrol Off-Road Racing Team Manager.
Matt Murry - Competing on the specially tuned KX450, had a positive weekend. Saturday, 10th August, he finished 19th outright 19th and 6th in class. Sunday 11th August, Matt finished 28th outright and 7th in class.
"Long open creek beds, tight sand sections between salt bushes and the track developing to be more technical over the weekend made the race more intense. It was a great opportunity to get more information on the bikes at their limit, especially after the 4 hour cross country racing."
