An incredible weekend of racing at Wakefield Park Raceway 23-24th March 2019 for round 2 of Australian Superbike Championship - ASBK.
Kawasaki Supported team, BCperformance had a solid result for the weekend. Team owner Kevin Reilly "Wakefield Park is not the team's favourite track and the struggle this weekend was obvious. We are looking forward to the more open, flowing tracks in the upcoming rounds, as this will suit the Ninja ZX-10RR and the style of Bryan Staring and Lachlan Epis."
In the last race of Australian Superbike Championship, Lachlan unfortunately went down on his Nina ZX-10RR, he was checked over in hospital after the crash, he has been released and he will be ready to race in the next round.
In addition to the Australian Superbike Championship, BCperformance also competed in the Supersport 300 series with their Kawasaki Ninja 400. Kelvin commented on the Supersport 300 series: "Tayla Relph and Callum O-Brien are working hard on improving their race craft. The Ninja 400 bikes are struggling with the current race restrictions. The bikes are strong, but not competitive with the current regulations placed upon them. The team will use each race to build on the rider's skills and professionalism."
