The Kawasaki supported rider has been exhibiting outstanding results and progress during his first time competing in a 600cc Supersport series however he will now sit out the next three rounds to recover from his injury.
Dealer Principal of Crazy Dogs Motorcycles, Team Manager and father, Richard Baker, said, “Jack finished round 3 of the Australasian Superbike Championship at Eastern Creek still showing signs of the injury he sustained during qualifying. Tests later revealed that Jack had broken two vertebrae in his lower spine. Upon medical orders, Jack will be out of the series for the next three months. With ongoing physio and training Jack hopes to be back to full fitness for the final round at Eastern Creek on the 4th of December.”
Kawasaki Motors Australia wish Jack Baker a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing his strong return to road racing aboard his Ninja ZX-6R.
