Racing in 2 classes at the Old Bar track, Hardiman ATV Kawasaki Race Team's Toby Hyde managed two heat race wins on his way to the Open class final on board his Kawasaki KFX450R ATV. He didn't disappoint in the main event riding brilliantly to take the Australian Title. Hyde also found success in the ATV Pro class winning 2 heat races on his way to the main event where he finished in 2nd place.
Toby Hyde say's, "I so pleased to win the Open class but I wish I could've made it a double and won the Pro class as well. I was on track to after winning two of the heat races but it wasn't to be. My Hardiman Kawasaki KFX450R was awesome and put me at the front time and time again."
Nursing injuries including a broken wrist and shoulder sustained in a training crash 2 weeks prior, Mick Kirkness rode through the pain to take an impressive 2nd place in the main event on board his Kawasaki Connection KX450F in the Open class.
Mick Kirkness say's, "I'm a little disappointed not to take the win but it was great to finish on the podium. The Kawasaki Connection KX450F handled like a dream and I was really happy with it. I should've been on a green bike sooner."
