The crew from Hands-On Kawasaki feels it’s important to support motocross at a grass roots level. Understanding the necessity of cultivating a passion for riding at a young age, Hands-On Kawasaki were only too happy to support Maroondah Motorcycle Club’s Demo Day that catered to the youth in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne on Sunday 8 May.
Hands-On Kawasaki’s test fleet consisted of a KLX110, a KLX110L and a KLX140L. Hoping that Ryan Villopoto would win the AMA SX Championship in the USA that same day, Hands-On Kawasaki also had a Monster Energy themed, number 1 plated Kawasaki KX450F on display as well. Their predictions proved right!
Even though the heavens opened up mid way through the day, the little KLX’s did not stop, test riding continuously throughout the whole day. Ridden back to back in tough conditions, the Kawasaki KLX test fleet did not skip a beat all day and all test riders were also happy to receive a Kawasaki show-bag after completing their test ride.
Hands-On Kawasaki Dealership Principal, Bryan Hands says, “All in all it was a great day for the club and for Kawasaki. While some manufacturers conducted test rides for only a portion of the day, the Kawasaki’s were ridden back to back all day by a load of happy kids. The bikes performed extremely well in the poor conditions and there were a lot of extremely happy kids at the end of it all so we are very happy.”
Hands-On Kawasaki looks forward to supporting more community and club events in the future.
