The world’s fastest production stand up personal watercraft, the Kawasaki Jet Ski SX-R dominated the podium with all three positions in the premier Pro Ski Modified class at the recent 2017 Lake Macquarie PWC Race Series.
Hosted at the remarkable Lake Macquarie, the event was the first of its kind and drew up to 15,000 spectators.
Newcastle Jet Ski Centre Kawasaki SX-R rider, Bryon Lewis was caught in a fierce melee with Thai international, Veerapong Maneechom who was also riding a Kawasaki SX-R. Bryon held his ground and crossed the line in 2-1-2 for the three motos while Veerapong took out the last moto to top the class overall. Byron was second and Newcastle Jet Ski Centre teammate Matt Daley rounded out the podium in 3rd.
