The opening round of the Supercross season revved up in Jimboomba. The MEGA Fuels Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing team has kicked the 2017 Supercross series in blistering form. Multi-time champion Dan Reardon has made an impressive return to Kawasaki on board the Kawasaki KX450F by leading SX1 – heat one from the gate drop through to the finish line. Nathan Crawford solidified his “rookie-of-the-year” title with a tidy fourth place in heat one of the opening round; a superb outcome for Crawford’s debut on the Kawasaki KX450F in the Supercross series.
Lining up into the main event, with confidence gained from a solid heat one performances, Reardon and Crawford aimed for the holeshot and the top step of the podium. The positions turned during the mid-stages of the race and Reardon kept pushing the competition to cross the line in third place and onto the bottom step of the podium for the opening round.
Nathan Crawford displayed a positive start, in his debut in the Supercross SX1 series for MEGA Fuels Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team, with a solid sixth.
