The Noosa, QLD local has already won 3 Australian Junior MX Titles and two NZ Titles throughout his career. If all goes to plan he will add two more Australian Titles to his resume next week as he contends the 12-14 years 125cc class on board his KX125 and the 12-14 years Junior Lites class on his KX250F.
Dobson’s preparation leading up to the 2011 Junior MX Nationals has been flawless. 100% healthy, on the pace and with his two KX race bikes tuned and ready to go, the biggest obstacle standing between Dobson and glory is a long 25 hour drive from Noosa to Murray Bridge.
Jesse Dobson talks about his Kawasaki race bikes, saying, “Kawasaki stopped making the KX125's in 2007 but they’ve helped me out big time and together with Richard Baker from Crazy Dogs Kawasaki, Paul from MPE Suspension and Pro Circuit, have built me one mean KX125.”
“The KX125’s are just as dominant as the current brands and in the US they are consistently up their on the podium with the Team Green riders so I have no doubt it will deliver. And with the results being delivered around the world on the KX250F, I know I’m on the best machinery and I know that I can be at the pointy end. I can't thank everyone involved enough and hope that I can make them proud".
The 2011 Australian Junior MX Championship is being held at Murray Bridge, 1-8 October.
