Max Miller and Brad West represented Kawasaki in separate classes aboard their KX85 race machines at this year’s Australian Junior Motocross Championship held in Horsham, Victoria.

Max Miller jumpstarted the event with the third fastest qualifying time out of 81 highly talented riders in his class.

With results of 4-6-4 in the three events, Max polished off the Australian Junior MX Championship 85cc 9 - 12 year old class in 4th overall, a phenomenal achievement from a rider who had spent a lengthy period away from riding due to injury before this year’s campaign.

The dedicated West tribe made pit stops on their journey to the Aussie titles where they practiced at Victorian tracks to acclimatise and set Brad’s KX85 up for the premier event ahead. Brad was determined to put his training and hard work to the task and it paid off with results of 9-3-3 throughout the 3 motos and two holeshots.

Brad finished proficiently with 4th overall in the 85cc 12 - 14 year old class. To top it all off, Brad has recently been selected to represent Australia for the 2017 FIM Oceania Junior MX Challenge, a testament to his motocross racing ability and talent.
