Alex was able to get a good start in race one where he secured a position in the top 5 around the first corner. The first three laps saw many riders go down and Alex was able to climb into fourth place, which he maintained until the finish of the twenty minute moto.
The second moto saw track conditions deteriorate, leaving riders to battle with a hard and dusty track. Alex Said “My Kawasaki KX250f engine proved itself in the uphill start. I was able to easily power up the start straight”. Again starting in the top 5 after corner one, Alex made a few quick passes early on in the race. Alex sat comfortably in third position behind Jack Simpson and Jed Beaton and maintained the position through to the end of the twenty five minute moto.

Unfortunately, the track conditions were eventually deemed unsafe by track officials and the last round of racing was cancelled. With fourth and third place finishes, Alex claimed third overall for the day. Alex said “A big thanks to the Proformance Kawasaki team and my Mechanic Derek for helping me out on the day. This was a great lead up race in preparation for the upcoming opening round of the MX nationals in Horsham”.
Team Manager, Travis Whitten said “Alex is certainly on the improve with his starts being solid and riding very consistent laps”.
