With the help of Monster Energy Kawasaki riders Dean Ferris and Billy Mackenzie, Kawasaki launched their all new 2012 KX450F motocrosser to the Australian press at Appin’s National grade MX track on Monday 11 July.
The day was a huge success with the various press representatives who attended the event very impressed with the new KX and its many ground breaking features.
Media luminaries from such publications as ADB, Transmoto, Dirt Action, Freerider and Cycle Torque were able to line up on the starting grid alongside Mackenzie and Ferris and test the all new Launch Control that the new 2012 model KX450F features, for themselves.
Monster Energy Kawasaki mechanics along with Team Manager Troy Carroll and Kawasaki HQ mechanics were on hand throughout the day to help adjust the suspension and adjustable handlebar and foot-peg positions on the KX450F to suit inpidual riders and their preferences.
Testers were also able to experiment with the interchangeable EFI couplers that come standard with the motorcycle to suit a variety of track conditions.
Kawasaki is very thankful for the enthusiasm and positive reports received from the press in attendance. Stay tuned to Kawasaki’s YouTube channel for a video of the launch to come very soon.
