Kawasaki QLD State Manager Robert Merchant and Kawasaki Senior Technical Representative Jeremy Fuller were both on hand at the Gympie campus to donate a Kawasaki Versys 1000 ABS motorcycle, Kawasaki ZX-6R engine assembly and diagnostic tools. Whilst in attendance, Jeremy Fuller also conducted a KDS/ KRS and 2014 KX model range training to 14 motorycle mechanical students gathered from around the state.
Wide Bay Institute of TAFE Marketing Manager, Roger John, who was present for the hand-over and training , said, "There has been an ongoing relationship for many years and we're really appreciative of this donation."
Kawasaki Australia National Technical Services Manager, Peter Spindlow, say's, "As a company dedicated to delivering the most effective and up-to-date technical training to our dealer network, Kawasaki also naturally recognises the importance of technician training that occurs at the various TAFE institutes around Australia. It has therefore been a focus of our company to ensure that we can support key TAFE's in each state involved in motorcycle technician training, with the donation of modern and technologically advanced Kawasaki products to ensure these students can learn on the most current technology."
Kawasaki Australia looks forward to continuing support and donations to TAFE's in the future.
