BCPerformance rider Hayden Nelson has claimed P3 in race 2 of the Supersport category at the fourth round of the ASBK Championship.
Held at Morgan Park in Queensland, the first qualifying session proved challenging for Nelson, who crashed out.
The second qualifying session was a lot more positive for the young rider, with Nelson putting down a 1min15.517 lap time to claim fourth in the starting grid - his best start for 2024 yet.
Race 1 saw Nelson hold strong pace throughout the race, but ended with a P6 finish.
Race 2 was a different story as the young rider managed to climb to third position, and hold onto it until the chequered flag.
Hayden and the BCPerformance team will be back at it again on September 7, with round five of ASBK taking place at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
