Empire Kawasaki Racing team was in pre-season training action on 19th - 20th February at the Australian Motocross Invitational in Nowra NSW.
Riders duked it out for a chance at a slice of $20,000 in prize money over the weekend. The event incorporating the Moto-X Skins and was run at Nowra Speedway, in NSW, on a specially constructed track.
Haruki Yokoyama (386) and Jai Constantinou (44) battled with a strong field to put their Kawasaki KX250's at the front of the pack. Yokoyama (386) put in a fantastic effort to put himself on the podium in third place. Haruki commented on the weekend
"I am stoked to finish third place over the weekend, it was a tough race, but we came out near the top and I'm looking forward to the season ahead."
Team Manager - Tyson Cherry was very happy with the team results
"The guys really gave it a good effort this weekend, we can walk away happy with the team results and will be back training to fix up some key areas."
