Founded by former racer Manuel Puccetti, the Kawasaki Puccetti Racing team initially entered the local Italian Championship before expanding to global competition in WorldSSP and stock classes. It evolved into the official Kawasaki squad in WorldSSP, fielding the Ninja ZX-6R motorcycle. The full WorldSBK team debuted in 2017, achieving success with riders like Randy Krummenacher, Sylvain Guintoli, Anthony West, and Leon Haslam, who secured the team's first WorldSBK podium at Donington Park. Toprak Razgatlioglu joined in 2018, clinching podiums and the team's first race win in 2019. Xavi Fores came on board in 2020, followed by Lucas Mahias and Tito Rabat in 2021 and 2022. In 2023, 2013 WorldSBK champion Tom Sykes joined, alongside Mahias and Rabat. The 2024 season will see proven race winner Can Öncü representing the team in WorldSSP.
