To ensure its continued competitiveness, a host of changes to engine and chassis – including a higher rev limit and new lightweight pistons for the Ninja ZX-10RR – build on this proven performance. The next-generation Ninja ZX-10RR styling has improved aerodynamics and new features; Electronic Cruise Control and a TFT instrument panel with smartphone connectivity enhance street-riding enjoyment.

Pankl Performance Parts

In addition to the high-performance Pankl titanium connecting rods offered on the 2019 model, lightweight Pankl pistons contribute to the Ninja ZX-10RR’s high-revving performance.

Aerodynamic Riding Position

Updated handlebar and footpeg positions contribute to a more aggressive, circuit-focused riding position, while a new seat design helps riders minimise drag when tucked behind the windshield going down the straight.

Integrated Riding Modes: Sport, Road, Rain, Rider (manual)

All-inclusive modes that link S-KTRC and Power Mode allow riders to efficiently set traction control and power delivery to suit a given riding situation

Enhanced Street-Riding Experience

For riders who enjoy street riding, features like Electronic Cruise Control, full-colour TFT instrumentation, and being able to access their motorcycle via a smartphone all add to the experience.

Updated Ninja ZX-10RR Engine

With a powerful 998 cm3, liquid cooled, 4-stroke in In-Line Four updates to the Ninja ZX-10RR's powerful engine offers cleaner emissions while maintaining the performance of its predecessor. For the Ninja ZX-10RR, a higher rev limit contributes to a wider powerband and increased circuit performance.

Air-Cooled Oil Cooler

Based on feedback from Kawasaki’s WSB race machine, the new air-cooled oil cooler features an independent circuit – a design often seen on high performance models.

Next-Generation Ninja Styling

The aerodynamic racer-inspired front cowl, highlighted by compact LED headlights, new Ram Air intake and a  taller windshield, is the “face” of the Ninja ZX-10RR’s next generation Ninja styling.

Integrated Winglets

Winglets built into the upper cowl generate downforce that helps keep the front wheel on the ground during strong acceleration.

High-Grade Suspension

More circuit settings for the WSB-Developed BFF (Balance Free Fork) and BFRC lite (Balance Free Rear Cushion) shock facilitate front-rear weight transfer, and contribute to light handling.

High-Performance Brembo Brake System

Dual high-spec Brembo M50 monobloc calipers gripping large ø330 mm discs, specially prepared radial-pump master cylinder and race-quality steel-braided lines deliver next-level braking performance.

Sport Focussed Tyres

The Ninja ZX-10RR is fit standard with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres. 

Smartphone Connectivity

A Bluetooth chip built into the instrument panel enables riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly. Using the smartphone application “RIDEOLOGY THE APP,” a number of instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience.

Marchesini Forged Wheels 

7-spoke multi-directional forged aluminium wheels jointly developed with Marchesini contribute to lighter handling – especially when changing direction.

Higher Rev Limit

In order to take full advantage of new regulations in the Superbike World Championship, a number of engine changes enable the Ninja ZX-10RR’s rev limit to be increased from 14,300 min-1 to 14,700 min-1. Raising the rev limit not only moves the powerband 500 min-1 higher, it enables an even wider powerband, strengthening the Ninja ZX-10RR’s easy-to use character. The changes also contribute to improved engine response.

RR-Specific Camshafts

Ninja ZX-10RR specific camshafts were newly designed to elicit high-rpm performance.
