Designed specifically for mini-moto enthusiasts, the KLX110 is packed full of kid-friendly features, such as an adjustable throttle limiter, neutral only starting, 4-speed transmission with automatic clutch, electric start, lower chain guard, super-smooth power delivery and multiple heat shields for extra safety.
KLX110 Fun Bike
Removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, even simple bikes can offer a great deal of fun. Pure fun to ride for young riders. The 112 cm³ SOHC single cylinder engine's settings results in easy to manage engine power. 4-speed transmission and automatic clutch is easy to operate. The rear suspension offers great performance and rider comfort. KLX110’s ergonomics accommodate a wider range of riders. Low 680 mm seat height to suit a wide range of riders and can rider weights up to 70kg.
110 cm³ Air-Cooled Engine
Air-cooled, single cylinder engine is simple to operate and maintain, with high reliability. Optimum camshaft timing results in superb engine power at all engine speeds. The piston rings are designed with low tension reducing cylinder friction and mechanical losses and contributes to increased performance throughout the engine speed range. The KLX110 engine is fitted with a high quality replaceable oil filter for a longer engine life.
The KLX110 boasts 4 gears with gear ratios selected to enhance the engine's acceleration capabilities. Low first gear enhances accelleration from a standing start. Shift drum cam groove and postioning spring design combine with the smooth cam surface resulting in smooth shift feel and positive gear engagement under all riding conditions. Shift lever design helps prevent unintended actuation
Kick or Electric Starter
The handy electric starter enables hassle free starting. A keyless On/Off switch located on the left handlebar makes starting the KLX110 quick and easy. A red LED warning light on the left handle bar is activated when the handlebar “On/Off” switch is in the “On” position. KACR (Kawasaki Automatic Compression Release) on the intake valve provides easy starting for both the electric and kick starters. Digital CDI ignition ensures quick, reliable starting.
Auto clutch and 4-speed transmission with N-1-2-3-4 shift pattern helps keep it simple. A safety lockout system only allows the engine to start in Neutral.
Sturdy high-tensile steel backbone frame and high-tensile braced swingarm contribute to excellent handling characteristics. Tapered roller bearings used at the bottom of the steering stem offers increased durability.
Factory styling gives the KLX the look of a true motocrosser. The shrouds, tank, number plate, side covers and fenders have a sharp design modelled after our flagship KX450 motocrosser.
