2018 was a great year for Meghan Rutledge and the road leading up to the 2019 season wasn't easy for Meg. To not only win 2018 season, but to come back and take out the 2019 MX Women's Championship is incredible!
Meghan commented on her 2019 success and the results of the last round of MX Women's Championship: "I had a great first day at the Manjimup 15,000 Motocross for the 3rd and final round of the women’s MX Nationals. I qualified P1 in qualifying and finished P1 in race one after an epic battle with Jess Moore for the lead and to take the win.
Bitter sweet day two and end to the championship on day two. Had an unfortunate crash in moto 1 resulting in an injured thumb. Managed to hold on for the day and take P2 in all three motos leaving me 2nd for the weekend but that was enough for me to claim back to back Australian Women’s MX championships. ☝???"
Kawasaki Australia congratulate Meg on her return to the top and look forward to continue supporting her in 2020. To stay up to date with all the latest from Meghan follow her Facebook here and Instagram @meg66rutledge
