Adam Monea headed to the final round equal 2nd in the championship and got down to business immediately securing the win in his first heat race.

Monea rocketed into 3rd place after the gate dropped and then fought his way into the lead on lap 5. He held onto the lead for the next 8 laps but was passed by series winner Matt Moss in the  final stages of the moto.

National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki were very pleased with Adam Monea's 2nd place finish to the series considering that he hasn't raced supercross in 4 years.

A happy Adam Monea say's, "I'm pleased with the speed I had. I feel I was on par with Matt (Moss) but I made the rookie error of holding my breath on the tight track and tried to sprint away. I built up a bit of a buffer and then when I realised on lap 15 or 16 that I was holding my breath I hit a wall and Matt caught me so the last 5 laps of the race were terrible but the first 15 were good. Matt was on the charge but I had his pace. Seeing as Matt had sealed the championship win the round before, 2nd place was what I went out there to get and I got the job done so all things considering, it was a good result."

National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Jake Moss sat out the final round due to injury. Local Kawasaki rider Matt Haworth was given the go ahead to race onboard Moss's KX450F but was unable to qualify through to the main event.

National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki Race Team manager, Troy Carroll, say's, "The result is a real credit to Adam. He showed a lot of skill and experience for somebody who hasn't raced supercross for 4 years. We're very pleased to finish this series on the podium and we couldn't have done it without the support of our many sponsors and we thank them very much."
