Kawasaki supported rider Max Whale has sent an update through to the team at Kawasaki Australia.  Let’s catch up with Max to find out what he has been up to riding in America.

What have you been doing in America lately:

  • “Just got my new 2019 KX450 last week in America. The bike is unbelievable, I’ve had a lot of KX’s but this new bike is the best by far!”

How has the riding been going Max?

  • “I’ve been unable to compete in the last 2 rounds of the American flat track series (AFT), due to a broken collarbone in which I had to have plated. It’s been so hard having a month off especially after a top 5 finish at Oklahoma mile.  I’ll have clearance to ride soon, which will give me 2 weeks to prepare for Sturgis round 12.

How do you recover from that Max?

  • “I’ve been working really hard on my recovery, a lot cycling jogging and even tennis which has been good for my shoulder.”

How is the support going for you in America?

  • “In my time out l have picked up an exhaust sponsor, S&S Cycle they have been helping with pipes to get me that little extra on the mile circuits where this bad boy KX will be doing over a 100 mile per hour.”

Thanks again Kawasaki motors for the ongoing loving. Keep you guys down under posted on my new KX450.
