D’agostin came away with 3-3-2 results to take 2nd in the Stock Standard class while Eade placed 3rd.
D’agostin, who has previously placed 5th in the World Finals in the USA on board a Kawasaki Jet Ski and also races V8 Supercars decided to try his luck in the Opens feature race at Atkinson Dam. D’agostin face an uphill battle considering he was racing his stock standard Ultra 300X in a field of modified skis however he rode well enough to bag the hole-shot and come away with the win.
Jamie Eade, who is the owner of Brisbane Kawasaki was pleased with how he and D’agostin rode, saying, “Damn these Ultra 300X’s are good ski’s. They did everything we asked of them and we couldn’t be happier. We can’t wait to race this weekend.”
Jamie Eade and Christian D’agostin will both line up at the first round of the Australian Jet Ski Offshore Triple Crown this weekend where they hope that their Ultra 300X’s will have the measure over their competitors in the 40km ocean race.
