Team manager and recent Australian Supercross Championship hall of fame inductee Troy Carroll looks forward to this Saturday’s event as the team continues to make an impact at the mid-point of the series.
“We’re definitely building momentum,” said Carroll. “We knew that we weren’t ready for round one with Wil, but we were definitely ready for round two. Kade [Mosig] struggled a little, he had a personal issue the week leading up to the race, which we took into account knowing he was going to be back bigger and better for round three in Adelaide.”
With both Hahn and Mosig sitting in top five positions in the SX1 championship standings, Carroll hopes to see one of the factory-supported Kawasaki KX450F machines on the rostrum and potentially on top at the season’s end.
“We know we can put both riders up in the top three in the championship, so that’s what we’re working on,” he added. “There are still four rounds to go, so we’re very confident and hopefully we can get Kawasaki a championship!”
American ace Hahn aims to carry the momentum from his round two runner-up SX1 finish into the Adelaide event following a successful two weeks of training and testing between rounds. He's currently third in the points tally.
"To finish second at Toowoomba was a great result for myself and the National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team, so I am really looking forward to carrying that momentum into this weekend," Hahn said. "Everything has been going to plan, I'm really enjoying Australia and the KX450F has been flawless in the opening rounds."

Following a pair of sixth-place finishes to date, Aussie speedster Kade Mosig has his sights set on putting his Kawasaki KX450F up on the podium this weekend, a place the Queensland-based rider believes he belongs.
“Sixth-place finishes are average results and not really where I want to be,” Mosig commented. “I did struggle in Toowoomba with the lead-up I had, but I’ve hit the reset button after that. I’m feeling confident and I’m feeling strong, we’ve got four more rounds to go so it’s time to put the hammer down and put it where I think I belong, which is on the podium every week.”
