The reigning combined class champion had to familiarised himself with his KX250F racing machine after a recent stint at the AMA Armature Nationals in the United States which saw him compete aboard his KX450F. Max quickly resumed his lethal rhythm to take out the combined 4 stroke class and come a tremendously close 2nd place overall in the 250cc 4 stroke class.
“I had the speed all weekend and qualified in the top 3 in all my classes. I knew I could have won every race but silly mistakes cost me. Still happy to come away with an overall win and a 2nd!” said the talented 15 year old Queenslander.
Max will fly the Kawasaki flag next at the Australian Senior Dirt Track Championship at Eagleton, NSW this weekend.
