Tommy Searle raced to his third GP win of the season in the eighth round of the FIM World MX2 Motocross Championship at Bastogne in Belgium to confirm his ambitions of winning this year's world title and Christophe Pourcel of Team CP377 Monster Energy Kawasaki Pro Circuit raced to his fifth podium finish of the season in the MX1 class at Bastogne.

Kenan Sofuoglu rode his Kawasaki DeltaFin Lorenzini Ninja ZX-6R to the race win at Misano and in doing so put himself into a 22 point lead. Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) had a highpoint of fourth in race one at Misano today but kept his third position overall.

Two third places on home soil for Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) put him within five points of the WSBK championship lead as his new rookie team-mate Loris Baz scored a strong eighth place in race two. Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki DeltaFin Lorenzini) rode with his head and his heart at Donington to secure second place in the race and the lead in the WSS championship. Sheridan Morais was a fine sixth.

Changing weather conditions meant that Kawasaki DeltaFin Lorenzini rider Kenan Sofuoglu was unable to challenge for the win today but in taking second place he joined fellow Kawasaki rider Fabien Foret in the points lead.
